Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a care home setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
β Create and implement individual care plans for residents, ensuring their specific needs and preferences are met
β Supervise and support a team of care assistants, providing guidance and leadership
β Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
β Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
β Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
β Monitor and record residents\β health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
β Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
β Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Skills:
β Experience working in a care home or similar setting
β Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
β Proficient in using IT systems for record keeping and documentation
β Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to supervise and motivate a team
β Knowledge of senior care best practices and regulations
