Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in a care home setting. Responsibilities:
– Create and implement individual care plans for residents, ensuring their specific needs and preferences are met
– Supervise and support a team of care assistants, providing guidance and leadership
– Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
– Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
– Administer medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
– Monitor and record residents\’ health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
– Assist with maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
– Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

Skills:
– Experience working in a care home or similar setting
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Proficient in using IT systems for record keeping and documentation
– Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to supervise and motivate a team
– Knowledge of senior care best practices and regulations
