We are seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our expanding finance team in Central London. - Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assisting with daily bookkeeping and financial record keeping
- Reconciling bank accounts and company ledgers
- Processing supplier invoices and employee expenses
- Preparing payment schedules for approval
- Assisting with VAT and financial reporting processes
- Investigating account discrepancies and resolving queries
- Producing financial reports using Microsoft Excel
- Supporting internal audits and compliance procedures
- Working closely with finance managers on business improvement projects
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good organisational and time management abilities
- Professional communication skills
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and Office applications
- Ability to prioritise workloads in a busy office environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Previous office or finance experience is beneficial but not essential
