We are looking for an ambitious Financial Consultant to join a growing financial consultancy supporting businesses with financial analysis, commercial decision-making and funding strategy. This is not a traditional banking role. You will work across real commercial situations, helping clients understand their financial position, assess potential funding routes and make better-informed business decisions.

The position offers exposure to businesses across multiple sectors and is particularly suited to someone who enjoys combining financial analysis with communication, problem-solving and commercial thinking.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reviewing company financial information, management accounts and cash-flow positions.
  • Building and interpreting financial models, forecasts and scenario analyses.
  • Supporting clients in understanding their financial and commercial position.
  • Assessing business funding requirements and researching suitable commercial funding options.
  • Preparing financial summaries, reports and presentations.
  • Comparing commercial finance structures based on cost, term, security requirements and business objectives.
  • Conducting market, company and sector research.
  • Supporting senior consultants with more complex client assignments.
  • Liaising with lenders, finance providers and other professional parties where appropriate.
  • Helping businesses prepare information required when approaching potential finance providers.
  • Identifying financial risks, cash-flow pressures and potential areas for commercial improvement.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring work is completed in accordance with internal compliance procedures.
