REFYT is a PAS 2035:2023 retrofit contractor based in East London. We deliver Warm Homes schemes for local authorities, housing associations and energy suppliers across London, Surrey, Suffolk, Essex and Kent, working as both main contractor and subcontractor.
The role
We are looking for a Retrofit Assessor to carry out PAS 2035 assessments on homes across our live programmes. You will travel to properties across London and the South East in a company car and work with our retrofit coordinators, customer liaison team and installation team.
What you will do
- Carry out retrofit assessments to PAS 2035:2023, including RdSAP, condition reports, occupancy assessments and ventilation checks
- Take photos and collect evidence to scheme and lodgement standards
- Lodge assessments accurately and on time through your accreditation body
- Identify defects, moisture risks and enabling works before measures are designed
- Book and attend visits with residents, working with our Customer Liaison Officers
- Work with Retrofit Coordinators to resolve queries and get jobs through quality checks
- Meet agreed weekly assessment targets across several schemes
What we are looking for
- Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Assessment, or Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor working towards Level 5
- Current membership of an accreditation scheme such as Elmhurst or Stroma
- Experience on funded schemes such as ECO, GBIS, SHDF, WH:LG or Warm Homes
- Good working knowledge of RdSAP 10 and PAS 2035 documentation
- Full UK driving licence
- Organised, reliable and comfortable speaking with residents in their homes
