THE ROLE

REFY Beauty is looking for a highly experienced Senior Technical Artworker to sit across Marketing and Product Development (PD), owning the accurate delivery of artwork from concept through to print and production. This role is for someone who combines exceptional technical capability with strong operational thinking — able to manage complex packaging and campaign artwork, lead artwork process improvements, and act as a key quality gate for brand consistency and production-ready output.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the creation, adaptation and finalisation of artwork across packaging, campaign, VM/POS, print and digital assets
  • Oversee VM and Gondola design for retail
  • Own end-to-end packaging artwork delivery: dielines, copy placement, finishes, specs, legal marks and versioning
  • Partner closely with PD on new product development, range extensions and reworks, ensuring artwork is accurate, compliant and production-ready
  • Support Marketing with high-volume campaign rollouts, seasonal updates and always-on assets, ensuring speed without compromising quality
  • Create and adapt artwork for retail environments, including gondolas, retail fixtures, in-store signage and display assets, working to supplier specs and print-ready requirements
  • Manage artwork version control across SKUs, formats and markets (including localisation where needed)
  • Be the primary technical contact for external suppliers (printers, manufacturers), troubleshooting technical queries and ensuring flawless output
  • Establish and uphold artwork standards: file setup, naming conventions, templates, QC checklists and sign-off workflows
  • Proactively identify risks (print issues, inconsistencies, spec conflicts) and solve them early
  • Mentor/support junior artworkers or freelancers as required and help scale resource planning for peaks

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

  • Strong experience in a Senior Technical Artworker role, ideally within beauty, consumer goods or premium retail
  • Expert knowledge of print production, packaging artwork and pre-press processes
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); confident working from dielines and complex packaging files
  • Highly detail-driven, with a strong eye for brand consistency and quality control
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge, problem-solve and protect standards
  • Process-minded: able to improve workflows and bring structure to artwork delivery
  • Experience supporting multi-market packaging and localisation
  • Knowledge of finishes and production methods (foils, emboss, varnishes, special inks)
  • Familiarity with packaging compliance processes and working with legal/regulatory stakeholders
