  • Strong understanding of the UK asylum and refugee protection system, including relevant law, policy and the barriers and impacts experienced by people navigating it.
  • Demonstrable commitment to anti-racism and to removing barriers to power and participation for people with lived experience.
  • Experience of supporting, supervising and applying good practice when working with volunteers.
  • Understanding of the value and challenges of working with volunteers with lived experience to co-produce resources and co-design services.
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear, accessible content for different audiences and purposes.
  • Excellent partnership, communication and networking skills, with the ability to work constructively with and influence voluntary and statutory agencies.
  • Experience of planning and delivering high-quality engagement sessions using varied approaches for different audiences.
  • Ability to implement ongoing monitoring and evaluation processes and present findings clearly.
  • Desirable: experience of using Canva, Adobe or similar tools to create multimedia assets, and content management systems to create and publish content.
