Quality and Operational Development Manager – Refuge
We are recruiting for a Quality and Operational Development Manager to join our London team, working hybridly with occasional visits to our Vauxhall head office and nationwide service sites.
Salary: £49,538.49 per annum (inclusive of London weighting)
Contract Type: Full‑time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week
About the Role
This role leads our work on strengthening and embedding quality assurance across Refuge services. You will obtain external accreditations, refresh internal audit processes, and oversee the development and review of operational policies. You’ll work across teams and with survivors to ensure services reflect best practice, legal compliance, and feminist values.
Responsibilities
- Obtain and maintain external accreditations for Refuge services.
- Refresh internal audit processes and develop audit schedules.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and review of operational policies.
- Collaborate with teams and survivors to embed best practice, legal compliance, and feminist values across services.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and report on performance to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in quality assurance, accreditation, or a related field.
- Experience working within domestic abuse or gender‑based violence services.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
