Salary: Β£26,701.36 per annum

Contract type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in our local Warwickshire domestic abuse helpline, on a rota basis. This requires covering a later shift from 12:30 to 20:30, approximately twice per month.

This is an opportunity to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence and their children living within Warwickshire. The post holder will inform the survivor on the options and support available, empowering the survivor to make decisions and achieve their goals to increase their safety, confidence and independence.

The role involves working with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies to advocate on behalf of survivors and promote access to services to meet their needs. The Safe Accommodation Outreach Worker will be co-located within housing teams in Warwickshire to strengthen multi-agency working and improve access to safe accommodation for survivors. The post holder will build effective working relationships with housing colleagues, provide specialist domestic abuse advice and support.
