We’re working with a new Fuel Retail Group that is about to acquire a number of petrol stations across the UK and has ambitious plans to grow quickly, with the aim of becoming one of the largest independent operators in the market within the next few years. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an experienced fuel retail professional who wants to get involved early, helping to steady the ship initially and then playing a key role in shaping the business as it grows.
The role:
- Initially responsible for around 6 sites, with further acquisitions planned
- Very hands-on at the start, supporting the transition of newly acquired independent sites
- Increasing involvement in commercial and operational strategy over time
- Home based, with travel to sites
About you:
- Must be from a fuels background – fuel retail / fuel sales experience is essential
- Strong multi-site operational experience
- Commercially minded and comfortable rolling your sleeves up
- Interested in being part of a growing business rather than a finished one
