The Role
As an Apprentice Installer, you'll work alongside experienced tradespeople on sites across the UK whilst attending college to gain your qualifications.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting skilled tradespeople with installations and site activities
- Learning how to use hand and power tools safely
- Supporting electrical, mechanical, pipework and ductwork installations
- Preparing materials and work areas
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Learning to read drawings and technical specifications
- Developing practical skills both on site and at college
- Working as part of a professional team to deliver projects to a high standard
What We're Looking For
We are looking for people who:
- Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Are reliable, punctual and keen to learn
- Want to build a long-term career in the construction and building services industry
- Enjoy practical, hands-on work
- Can work well as part of a team
- Are prepared to travel and occasionally work away from home when required
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Are aged 18 or over (a requirement for access to many of our sites)
Previous experience is not required. We're far more interested in attitude, commitment and willingness to learn.
