The Role
As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for the installation of a variety of mechanical pipework systems across commercial and industrial sites throughout the UK.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and plastic pipework systems
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and technical specifications
- Measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipework
- Installing heating, chilled water, domestic water, gas, and process pipe systems
- Working alongside project managers, HVAC engineers, electricians, and site teams
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Supporting apprentices and mates where required
What We're Looking For
We are looking for Pipefitters who:
- Have previous commercial or industrial pipefitting experience
- Can confidently read and interpret technical drawings
- Have strong installation skills and attention to detail
- Take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship
- Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Are willing to travel and work away when required
- Hold a valid CSCS Card
- Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred)
Additional qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, SSSTS, or welding certifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
