Due to continued growth, we are seeking motivated and reliable Air Conditioning Mates to join our expanding team and support our installation teams on projects nationwide.
The Role
Working alongside qualified Air Conditioning Engineers and Installers, you will assist with the installation, maintenance and commissioning of air conditioning and ventilation systems on a variety of commercial projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career within the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting Air Conditioning Engineers with the installation of HVAC systems.
- Carrying and preparing materials, tools and equipment.
- Assisting with the installation of pipework, ductwork, condensate drainage and associated equipment.
- Supporting testing and commissioning activities.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety on site.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised and safe.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Following instructions from Site Supervisors and Project Managers.
- Working collaboratively with other trades on site.
Essential Requirements
- CSCS Card.
- Good practical skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience working within construction, building services or HVAC.
- PASMA, IPAF or other site qualifications.
- Basic understanding of air conditioning systems and installation methods.
- Experience working on commercial construction sites.
