We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join an excellent nursery based in Hanham, Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with either a level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in the nursery setting. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high‐quality care and education to all the children.
- Plan and implement engaging activities to support early years development.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
- Monitor children's progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and EYFS guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Preferred
- Experience working in a childcare setting.
- Paediatric First Aid certification.
- Understanding of child‐led learning approaches.
