We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join an excellent nursery based in Henley. The ideal candidate will be wanting to earn a qualification in early childhood education with either a level 2 or 3 qualification.

Salary: £17305.60 per annum

Location: Henley

Hours: 40 hours over either 4 or 5 days Monday to Friday

Duties:

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
  • Build a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
  • Manage daily routines and ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education.
  • Follow the EYFS practice.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to child development.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience and overall nursery environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their needs.
  • Ability to drive initiatives that foster children's growth and development.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
