We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis from the end of October 2026 through to the end of August 2027. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can engage and inspire middle school pupils, helping them develop confidence, curiosity, and a positive attitude towards mathematics.

Working four days per week during term time, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality maths education while supporting pupils' academic progress and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Maths to middle school pupils, delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Encourage confidence, enthusiasm, and curiosity in mathematics.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
  • Assess pupils' abilities and monitor academic progress.
  • Complete all required reporting and record-keeping relating to student achievement and development.
  • Provide constructive feedback to pupils and parents/carers where appropriate.
  • Support the welfare, wellbeing, and learning needs of all pupils.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
About You
  • Has experience teaching Maths within a school environment.
  • Holds relevant teaching qualifications and QTS (or equivalent).
  • Is passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential.
  • Has strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Can create engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
