Regional Nursery Support Manager

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Regional Nursery Support Manager to lead a high-quality early year setting while providing support to other nurseries within the surrounding region.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious childcare professional who is committed to delivering exceptional care and education, inspiring teams, and maintaining outstanding standards across multiple settings.

The Role

As Regional Nursery Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading your home nursery while supporting neighbouring settings across the region.

You will ensure the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, compliance, and operational performance are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote outstanding standards of quality within your nursery, including the learning environment, resources, and children's experiences.
  • Support other nurseries within the region by sharing best practice, guidance, and operational expertise.
  • Ensure children receive engaging, stimulating, and age-appropriate learning experiences that support their development.
  • Oversee all nursery administration, including children's records, staffing documentation, inventories, and equipment ordering.
  • Provide administrative support and professional guidance to fellow Nursery Managers across the region.
  • Prepare for and support regulatory inspections, ensuring recommendations are implemented effectively.
  • Maintain compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including staff training, safeguarding, and first aid certification.
  • Drive occupancy and business performance by meeting agreed targets.
  • Recruit, induct, mentor, develop, and appraise staff to build and retain a high-performing team.
  • Foster positive, professional relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.
  • Act as deputy to the Regional Manager when required, providing leadership and operational support across the region.
  • Develop a strong working partnership with the Regional Manager and undertake additional responsibilities to support the wider business.

About You

We're looking for someone who

  • Has previous experience managing a busy nursery or early years setting.
  • Level 3 qualification or above in Early years or equivalent
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Has a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding requirements.
  • Is highly organised with excellent administrative and operational skills.
  • Can inspire, coach, and develop teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.
  • Builds positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
  • Is flexible and willing to support multiple nursery settings across the region when required.
