We are looking to recruit a Primary Teacher/Key Stage Lead for an Award winning School in Girton, Cambridge.
Main Duties for the role:
- Be responsible for delivering a broad and balanced curriculum to a small class of pupils (no more than 10).
- To take into consideration a range of curriculum approaches and specialist programmes so that the full needs of the learners are met.
- To organise the classroom, its resources, pupil groupings and displays in order to provide a stimulating learning environment.
- To manage and direct the support staff working within lessons.
- Promote good communications with parents via home-school books, telephone calls and meetings.
- To work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, liaising with the Pastoral Manager, Key Stage Leads, School Leadership Team and Therapists as appropriate.
- Be responsible for ensuring the completion, accuracy, quality and delivery of the end of term reports to parents, including up to date and accurate progress data.
- Check all Health and Safety Risk Assessments for Key Stage trips and outings for detail and accuracy.
- Establish regular Key Stage meetings to track and monitor:

- Staffing and Learner Matters
