We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join an excellent nursery based in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with either a level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves leading the team of Nursery Practitioners, managing the room, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in the nursery setting. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.

Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties.
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development.
- Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms.
- Implementation of the nursery key carer procedures and allocate children to key carers appropriately.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn.
- Ensure the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team approach to childcare.
- Manage daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and play activities.
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress as required.
- Drive initiatives that promote leadership within the nursery setting.
- Required: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Preferred: Experience working in a childcare setting.
- Paediatric First Aid certification.
- Understanding of child-led learning approaches.
