We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join an excellent nursery based in Winchmore Hill. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will have a strong background in early childhood education with either a level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent and a genuine love for working with young children. The role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in the nursery setting. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of our youngest learners.

Salary: £26,795 - £30,300 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week over Monday to Friday

Location: Winchmore Hill

Duties:

  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
  • Build a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all children.
  • Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
  • Manage daily routines and ensure the smooth operation of the nursery.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in early years education.
  • Follow the EYFS practice.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive approach to child development.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience and overall nursery environment.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding their needs.
  • Ability to drive initiatives that foster children's growth and development.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
