This is a brand-new role at Refresco created to supercharge how our UK supply chain performs. Reporting to the Head of Logistics and Customer Service, you'll be the go-to person for spotting opportunities, shaping high value projects and delivering the initiatives that sharpen our cost, efficiency and competitive edge.
You’ll juggle multiple projects at pace, align the right stakeholders and keep delivery tight: on time, on budget, in full. And when things don’t go to plan, you’ll lead the problem-solving and escalate smartly to senior leadership.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Head of Logistics and Customer Service, the role will identify and scope new projects as well as deliver existing projects that drive the performance and cost competitiveness of the Refresco UK supply chain. Project manage multiple initiatives, making sure that the relevant stakeholders and responsible team members are onboarded, engaged and kept on track, such that the various projects deliver their objectives, on time, on budget and in full.
Where this is not possible, then lead problem solving of best alternatives and escalate decision making and information to the Supply Chain Director and other Leadership Team members as appropriate.
As the Logistics Network Development Manager here are your key areas of focus:
- Deliver the Refresco UK warehouse efficiency roadmap
- Identify opportunities for cost savings that increase EBITDA
- Work with key stakeholders to obtain, retain and engage the necessary resources for success
- Define and manage timelines for projects and manage projects to the defined budgets
- Manage stakeholders through regular, objective updates, summarising the status and key decision points and escalating any barriers that they need help to overcome.
- Own the generation of and maintenance of an improvement roadmap for UK Supply Chain, driving 3%+ year on year savings initiatives
We’re looking for:
A candidate with solid end-to-end logistics experience, confident operating across a fast-moving supply chain. You’ll have a proven track record in project management, able to run multiple complex initiatives at the same time while keeping stakeholders aligned and delivery on track. You’re self-motivated, organised and proactive, with the drive to push projects forward and make things happen in a busy, high-pressure environment.
