Overview
Site Supply Chain Lead at Refresco Bridgwater, United Kingdom. Lead the supply chain function for a 600+ person manufacturing site, reporting to the Senior Leadership Team. You will oversee Planning, Scheduling, and Warehousing, drive performance across KPIs, and unite cross-functional teams to deliver safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the Supply Chain function for the Bridgwater site — covering Planning, Scheduling, and Warehousing.
- Deliver performance excellence against all supply chain KPIs, including OTIF, waste, working capital, and stock accuracy.
- Drive planning and scheduling optimisation, ensuring effective MRP and inventory management that supports production and customer demand.
- Champion safety, quality, and compliance across warehouse operations, embedding a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement.
- Identify and lead supply chain initiatives, reducing waste, improving service, and optimising cost per pallet and OEE performance.
- Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering talent, succession, and strong leadership behaviours aligned with Refresco’s values.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the Plant Leadership Team to support site-wide projects, efficiency programmes, and performance targets.
About You
- Extensive experience in Supply Chain leadership, including logistics and warehousing in an FMCG or blue-chip environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify optimisation opportunities and implement sustainable improvements.
- Experience working within complex, matrix organisations and cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with modern supply chain methodologies and systems such as SAP.
- A proven track record of leading teams to deliver outstanding operational results while nurturing a culture of empowerment and excellence.
