Area Shift Manager – Refresco, Bondgate
3 on 3 off – days and nights – 12 hour shifts

About The Role
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a multi disciplinary team to deliver operational KPI’s focusing on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People – SQCDP.
- Drive operational performance to meet business targets, managing budgets and capital expenditure.
- Lead daily operational reviews, ensuring actions are completed and adherence to production plans.
- Manage a team of supervisors, ensuring training, development, and succession planning are in place.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels, control overtime, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and GMP standards.
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure production plans are met and adjusted when necessary.
- Analyse, report, and present operational data, and lead continuous improvement projects to enhance performance.
About You
You are going to be part of the Refresco team at Refresco, Bondgate so it’s important you work and communicate well with your colleagues, support them when needed, take time to understand what they do, and learn how we all contribute to achieving our goals.
The successful candidate must have experience working within FMCG manufacturing, with a strong understanding of production processes. They should have a proven track record in managing a small team in a supervisory role, consistently meeting targets and driving performance improvements. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary management team, possess excellent communication skills for building relationships at all levels, and be proficient in IT, including the use of in-house systems. A solid knowledge of quality systems and standards in the food industry, as well as an awareness of current trends and developments in manufacturing, is also essential.
