The HR & Training Advisor delivers a proactive, people-centered HR service, supporting managers with day-to-day HR services which include employee relations and contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace culture. The role is responsible for site-based HR administration and the coordination of training activities. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR & Training Advisor ensures the effective delivery of core HR operations while actively driving employee engagement, supporting leaders, and supporting continuous improvement in line with business values.
Key Areas of Focus- Coach and support managers on performance, conduct, and absence.
- Champion engagement and wellbeing, ensuring every voice is heard.
- Drive inclusive recruitment and onboarding to set new starters up for success.
- Provide clear HR advice aligned with policy, procedures, and legislation.
- Maintain HR systems and data, producing reports to support KPIs.
- Deliver training and promote continuous learning to boost leadership capability.
- Support HRBPs and manage HR administration to ensure efficient, value‑adding service.
We are seeking a candidate with demonstrable experience as an HR & Training Advisor, or an HR Coordinator who has supported employee relations cases and is ready to step into a varied, fast-paced role. The position offers exposure to both ER casework and the coordination of site-based HR administration. The successful candidate will bring strong IT skills, with proven capability across HR databases and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, alongside excellent written and verbal communication skills to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
