As a Laboratory Administrator in our Bridgwater Quality team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. About the Role
To provide full administration support for the Laboratory Team and Laboratory Manager. Provide additional administrative support to other Technical Management members and the Factory Quality Managers. Here are your key tasks and responsibilities as Laboratory Administrator at Refresco:
- Manage laboratory administration, ensuring all records, files, reports, and archived documentation are accurate, up to date, and easily accessible to support operational and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate the collection, preparation, and shipment of customer, internal, and external laboratory samples, ensuring all samples are dispatched on schedule and courier activities are effectively managed.
- Oversee laboratory consumables and stock control, monitoring inventory levels, raising purchase orders, managing deliveries, and maintaining continuous supply to support laboratory operations.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, laboratories, and internal departments including Purchasing, Finance, Planning, and Technical teams to ensure effective communication, issue resolution, and service excellence.
- Produce and maintain management reports, sample submission documentation, end-of-month reporting, and other laboratory data records, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and effective use of in-house systems and databases.
- Support a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment by adhering to Health & Safety, Environmental, Food Safety, Hygiene, and Company policies while demonstrating Refresco’s values of being Entrepreneurial, Agile, Responsible, Excellent, and Passionate.
