About the role
We are looking for an experienced Energy & Water Program Lead to drive impact across our UK operations. As the UK lead, you will spearhead the local Energy & Water Reduction Program, collaborating with our European Engineering Team to deliver sustainable results across six sites. Hybrid working (Monday‐Friday) and a regional role covering all six UK Refresco sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UK Energy & Water Program: Drive implementation of energy and water saving strategies, working with local teams to identify and act on efficiency opportunities.
- Collaborate Across Europe: Engage with our European expert network, ensuring consistency, sharing best practices, and shaping continental strategies.
- Partner with Plant Teams: Work closely with plant managers and site teams to roll out tailored initiatives.
- Deliver Projects: Lead projects from concept to execution, ensuring results are delivered on time and within budget.
- Analyze & Report: Monitor progress, produce actionable insights, and support ESOS compliance and benchmarking efforts.
- Coach & Train: Act as a subject matter expert, empowering teams with knowledge and tools for sustainable operations.
- Champion Innovation: Continuously seek new technologies and methods to optimize energy and water usage.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in energy and water management, ideally within bottling, manufacturing or similar industries.
- Deep knowledge of energy/water saving technologies and sustainability frameworks.
- Strong project‐management skills with ability to lead across multiple stakeholders and geographies.
- Data‐driven mindset, skilled in using data and analytics to drive decisions and performance.
- Excellent communicator, fluent in English and comfortable working across teams and cultures.
