Refresco, the world’s largest independent soft drinks manufacturer, is seeking a Production Advanced Team Operative for our Kegworth Site. You will play an important role in ensuring some of the best-known drink brands in the UK are manufactured to the right quality and delivered on time to our many customers. About The Role

You will be part of a supportive team led by the Area Manager, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around and show you the ropes. As Production Advanced Team Operative, your main tasks and duties will be:

  • Perform all duties within the Production Department to ensure the effective running of the process function and/or production lines and associated systems/equipment and remain audit-ready at all times.
  • Operate equipment/machinery and undertake fault finding, changeovers including CIP where relevant, asset care, and basic machine maintenance activities.
  • Manage Raw Materials in accordance with FIFO and Storage Procedures.
  • Accurately complete all monitoring systems required by the Company in accordance with Company Policies, Procedures and Standards.
  • Report any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and support corrective action activities.
  • Motivate and manage team members to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards.
  • Work as a key member of a production team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
  • Support the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
  • Participate in traceability exercises, product trials, and site audits/visits.
  • Pro-actively identify areas for continuous improvement within the production work environment/equipment/systems and participate in short-interval control and root cause analysis assessments.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to develop within the role to achieve Excellent Competency Levels.

You will be paid a salary of £35,885.20, inclusive of a 10% shift allowance. Your shift pattern will be 3 on 3 off - 12 hour shift - Days and nights - 6 to 6. About You

You are going to be part of the Refresco team at Kegworth so it’s important you work and communicate well with your colleagues, support them when needed, take time to understand what they do, and learn how we all contribute to achieving our goals. For the role of Production Advanced Team Operative you will need experience in an advanced manufacturing role with mechanical experience, particularly previous filling experience would be preferred. It is also an advantage if you have a food production background.
