This is a chance to shape the Demand function at the heart of the UK business, lead a talented team, and influence decisions that directly drive customer service, operational performance, and commercial outcomes. You’ll join a fast-moving, supportive environment where your ideas matter, your expertise is valued, and your leadership will make a visible difference across the organisation.
About the Role:
This role leads the Demand Management team to turn a collaborative sales forecast into a clear, accurate demand plan that drives capacity and inventory decisions. It owns the forecasting process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, minimising bias, and capturing all seasonal, promotional, and customer-driven requirements. It works closely with Planning and Customer Relationship teams to flag capacity risks, build mitigation plans, and feed reliable insight into S&OP and financial forecasting, while providing trend and forecast analysis to the wider business.
As the Forecast and Demand Manager here are your key areas of focus:
- Execute all elements of the forecasting and demand planning process to meet service levels and working-capital targets.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance customer experience and deliver budgeted costs.
- Lead the Demand Stream within S&OP, ensuring accurate data and a robust demand plan.
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy, bias, and KPI performance.
- Support system selection and implementation while sharing best-practice across supply chain operations.
- Work with supply chain, Relationship, and Planning teams to balance demand and supply, resolve issues, and maintain service levels at minimal cost.
- Build strong internal and external relationships to understand demand drivers and create competitive advantage.
We’re looking for someone who brings an empowering leadership style, a clear vision, and a genuine commitment to helping their team thrive. You’ll be a strong team player as well as a capable leader, with a CIPS qualification, a relevant degree, or at least two years’ experience in a supply chain role. Experience in supply chain knowledge is essential, ideally gained within a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
Ultimately, we encourage everyone to role model our core values of agility, responsibility, passion, excellence, and entrepreneurship as we believe these are what has made Refresco successful so far.
If you fit this profile and are excited by this opportunity, we would be delighted to hear from you!
