About the Role
As a Shift Manager, you will:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of Operators, Team Leaders, and Engineers to achieve operational KPIs (SQDCP – Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People).
- Take full accountability for your shift’s performance, including manpower, materials, machines, and processes.
- Manage budgets for labour and materials, driving efficiencies without compromising quality.
- Ensure your team is fully trained, competent, and motivated, with clear succession plans in place.
- Champion Health & Safety and compliance with site QMS to ensure audit readiness at all times.
- Investigate and resolve any non-compliance issues quickly and effectively.
- Lead daily operational reviews, collaborating with other departments to meet production plans.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost OEE, yield, and engagement.
About You
- Proven experience in FMCG manufacturing, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
- A solid understanding of production processes, quality systems, and safety standards in the food & drink industry.
- Great communication skills, able to build strong working relationships at all levels.
- Competence with IT systems and data reporting.
