Salary: £61,141 per annum. Overtime paid at 1.5x. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12‑hour shifts, days and nights. 24/7 shift pattern, average of 42 hours per week.

About the role
You will be an integral part of your team, ensuring the factory is kept up and running to its highest capacity. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance work across our factory on various state‑of‑the‑art equipment including pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, check weighers, palletizers, packaging machinery, processing systems, specialist food processing machinery, silos, pumps, pipework, etc.
Daily tasks
- Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader, delivering high‑quality engineering service.
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, basic control and instrumentation faults.
- Complete a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area.
- Continuously improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards.
- Get involved with factory improvement projects.
About you
- L3 engineering qualification or time served.
- Multi‑skilled background – either bias.
- Be confident in putting forward new ideas and suggestions.
- Be accurate and detail‑oriented in your daily tasks and duties.
- Experience working on processing equipment: pipework, pumps, silos, turning equipment.
- Skills in fault finding in panels, sensors, relays, inverters, drives, motors, pumps, pneumatics, and pipework.
