Help Shape One of Refresco's Biggest Transformation Programmes
We're looking for an experienced Communications Lead to play a key role in delivering communications and engagement activity for one of Refresco's most significant business transformation programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys working alongside operational and programme teams, and is passionate about helping people navigate change with confidence.
You'll be at the heart of the transformation, working closely with programme leaders, site leadership teams and manufacturing colleagues to ensure employees understand what's changing, why it matters and how they can contribute to a successful outcome.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys delivering, influencing and making a real impact. You won't be starting from scratch- there is already a strong communications framework in place, established stakeholder relationships and a commitment to continuously improving colleague engagement. We're looking for someone who can quickly build credibility, partner effectively with stakeholders and bring complex change programmes to life through clear, engaging communications.
While a major SAP S/4HANA upgrade sits at the centre of the programme, this is not a purely technical communications position. Your experience supporting large-scale business change and transformation initiatives will be far more important than specific SAP knowledge.
- Lead and deliver communications and engagement activity that supports a major business transformation programme.
- Create compelling communication materials, campaigns, leadership briefings, and key programme messaging.
- Translate complex change initiatives into clear, relevant, and engaging communications for colleagues.
- Partner with programme teams, stakeholders, and site leaders to ensure consistent, effective communication.
- Build strong relationships across the business and coach leaders to communicate change confidently with their teams.
- Drive colleague engagement, monitor communication effectiveness, and identify opportunities to improve understanding, adoption, and readiness for change.
About You
You'll be an experienced communications professional who combines strategic thinking with a practical, delivery-focused mindset. We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience delivering communications and engagement activity for large-scale change or transformation programmes.
- Understands what great change communications looks like and how to drive colleague engagement.
- Builds strong stakeholder relationships quickly and confidently.
- Is comfortable challenging and influencing senior leaders when required.
- Enjoys working collaboratively and getting involved in the detail.
- Has excellent writing, content creation and storytelling skills.
- Thrives in a fast-moving environment and can manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Is confident working with programme teams, operational leaders and frontline colleagues.
SAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential. We're far more interested in your change communications expertise, stakeholder management skills and ability to deliver outstanding communications that make a difference. If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely contribute, build strong relationships and help drive the success of a major transformation programme, we'd love to hear from you.
