At Refresco, the world’s largest independent bottler, we’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team of four HRBPs at our biggest UK site. This is a unique opportunity to step into a business-critical role where change and transformation are constant. You’ll be working at the heart of our people strategy, partnering with stakeholders across the site to drive initiatives forward, support organisational change, and help shape the future of our workforce.

As HR Business Partner, you’ll deliver our people strategy at site level, ensuring it reflects the values and behaviours of the business. You’ll identify local HR priorities, provide practical solutions, and support managers across the full employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on role within a small, friendly HR team on site, with additional support from our Central HR function.
As the HR Business Partner here are your key areas of focus:
- Performance & Capability: Lead the performance cycle, drive capability development, and coach managers to manage performance and behaviour issues confidently.
- Workforce Planning & Resourcing: Shape resourcing plans, oversee recruitment strategy (perm/agency), and drive retention and onboarding improvements.
- Governance: Provide expert HR and employment law guidance, manage risk, and ensure full compliance with policies, audits, and legislative requirements.
- Employee & Industrial Relations: Lead complex ER cases, partner with union reps, and support consistent, fair, and constructive employee relations.
- Absence & Wellbeing: Own the absence strategy, lead long-term sickness management, and implement wellbeing and workplace adjustment interventions.
- People Insights & Leadership Partnering: Use data to identify trends, brief senior leaders, and influence organisational planning, culture, and capability initiatives.
An experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) who can operate as a versatile generalist, bringing broad adaptability across multiple functions and the ability to manage diverse responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in change management, demonstrating skill in guiding teams through transitions, implementing new processes, and minimizing disruption.
Strong stakeholder management capabilities are essential, with the ability to build relationships, align interests, and secure buy-in from varied groups. Finally, candidates must thrive in fast-paced environments, consistently delivering high-quality results under short turnaround times.
