About the role:
You will be an integral part of the maintenance team, ensuring the factory runs at its highest capacity. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance work across a wide range of state‑of‑the‑art equipment – pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, check weighers, palletizers, packaging machinery, processing systems, specialist food processing machinery, silos, pumps, pipework, and more.
What are your daily tasks as a Multi‑skilled Maintenance Engineer at Refresco Bridgwater?
- Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader to deliver high‑quality engineering service.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, basic control and instrumentation faults rapidly.
- Complete a full range of maintenance activities across your asset base.
- Continuously improve performance to achieve site efficiency and standards.
- Take part in factory improvement projects.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer with a multi‑skilled engineering background (either biased). You must hold a minimum L3 qualification in an engineering discipline or be time‑served. Candidates from an FMCG/food background will be highly desirable, but we will consider other backgrounds. Ex‑military applicants are welcome.
