Overview
As Production Planner at Refresco, you will develop robust production and capacity plans to maximise factory utilisation while controlling costs. You will translate forecasts into executable schedules, balance service levels with inventory and capacity, and proactively mitigate supply risks. Your work supports cross-functional teams to resolve constraints and drive continuous improvement in planning, systems, and reporting. This role offers the chance to shape production efficiency in a global beverage business and contribute to high customer service levels.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-term production and capacity plans to meet customer demand while optimising utilisation and service levels
- Translate sales forecasts into achievable production schedules, aligning stock builds with maintenance, seasonal demand, and promotions
- Identify and mitigate supply, capacity, material, labour, and service risks through scenario planning and contingency actions
- Investigate stock shortages and planning variances, implementing corrective actions with cross-functional teams
- Drive continuous improvement across planning processes, systems, and reporting, supporting automation and inventory optimisation
- Monitor planning KPIs, ensure data accuracy, and provide insights to improve service levels, plan adherence, and capacity utilisation
Key requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities with knowledge of production planning and S&OP
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and inform decisions
- Strong communication and stakeholder management across functions
- Proactive and resilient, capable of managing risks
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP) and strong numerical skills
