Overview
In this senior role, you will lead Refresco UK's Quality and Food Safety strategy across the manufacturing network to ensure compliant, high-quality products. You will partner with site teams to embed a One Team culture and drive continuous improvement, reducing the cost of quality and ensuring audits pass. You will influence operational leadership, coach quality teams, and implement practical processes and training. This role offers scope to shape quality culture across multiple sites and contribute to health, safety and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities
- Drive the operational quality implementation strategy across all UK manufacturing sites
- Ensure Quality and Food Safety programmes meet safety, legality and customer requirements
- Develop and promote a 'One Team' quality culture across site and central quality teams
- Build strong relationships with operational leadership to embed quality ownership
- Coach, mentor and develop operational quality teams to enhance capability
- Develop processes, tools and training programmes for continuous quality improvement
- Maintain robust site quality plans and ensure verification activities are resourced
- Lead improvement programmes to enhance quality KPIs and reduce cost of poor quality
- Lead and support delivery of audits (customer, regulatory, third-party)
- Measure and report quality performance metrics across the UK
- Support site change management to maintain quality, safety and compliance
- Lead incident escalation and ensure timely resolution of quality issues
- Drive best-practice adoption across sites through benchmarking and learning
- Champion Food Safety Culture through awareness and training
- Promote commitment to health and safety, sustainability and excellence
