Overview
In this role, you lead the design, maintenance and governance of Refresco UK's Food Safety Quality Management System to support business goals and meet customer and GFSI requirements. You will ensure robust documentation control, audit and CAPA governance, and reporting across UK sites. You collaborate with the Head of Quality Assurance to drive continuous improvement and food safety excellence. This position offers impact across multiple sites and a clear path to strengthen governance and compliance within a global beverages business.

Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the FSQMS across Refresco UK
- Ensure compliance with GFSI standards, customer requirements and external certification expectations
- Maintain controlled documentation within the FSQMS with version control and lifecycle management
- Provide governance and oversight for all quality management documentation
- Drive improvements to procedures, policies, templates and system documentation
- Develop and monitor FSQMS KPIs, document reviews, open actions and compliance activities
- Monitor and report audit performance, CAPA closure and corrective action adherence
- Analyze and report quality incident trends, risks and improvement opportunities
- Deliver FSQMS training on requirements, functionality and document control
- Develop templates and tools to support consistency across the business
- Conduct internal audits of documentation, records and system compliance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives strengthening quality governance and compliance
- Promote Refresco's commitment to food safety, quality, health and safety, sustainability and operational excellence
