About the Role:
Reporting into the Supplier Assurance team, you will play an important role in ensuring all raw material and packaging suppliers are approved in accordance with Refresco procedures and industry standards. A significant part of the role will involve obtaining, reviewing, and maintaining supplier documentation, specifications, audit reports, and certification records to ensure ongoing compliance with BRC, customer, and internal requirements. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure technical information is accurate, complete, and available to support product quality, food safety, and supplier performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain and maintain supplier audit questionnaires, GFSI certificates, audit reports, and supporting technical documentation.
- Monitor certification expiry dates and proactively obtain updated certificates and reports prior to renewal deadlines.
- Support the approval process for new raw material and packaging suppliers.
- Review supplier documentation and traceability records to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Obtain and maintain BRC/IOP certificates and reports for food contact packaging suppliers.
- Support supplier review processes and maintain accurate records within the Technical Database.
- Review laboratory and analytical results, escalating any non-conformances or concerns to the Supplier Assurance Managers.
- Assist with traceability exercises and provide evidence to support BRC and customer audits.
- Work collaboratively with Purchasing, Technical, Quality, and Operations teams to support supplier compliance activities.
- Ensure all supplier records, specifications, and approval documentation are accurately maintained and readily accessible.
About You:

You should possess strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation. Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders are also required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and database systems, is necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to review and interpret technical information are important. The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks through to completion is essential. Experience working with supplier approval systems, technical databases, or quality management systems would be advantageous. An interest in food, drink, quality systems, and continuous improvement is desirable, along with a proactive and customer-focused approach to supporting business objectives.
