As a Production Operative, you'll play a vital role in crafting some of the world's most beloved beverages at our UK's largest, state-of-the-art Bondgate site. About the Role:

  • Salary - £32,074.82 inclusive of shift allowance
  • 42 hours - Shift pattern of 3 on 3 off days and nights
  • Permanent

As a Supply Advanced Production Operative you will be part of a supportive team, working with colleagues who will help you settle in, find your way around, and show you the ropes. Your main tasks and duties will be:

  • Performing all duties within the Site Supply Function within the Factory to ensure all loading, storage, rotation and receipt functions of Finished Goods, Raw Materials, Packaging, Waste, Raw Materials Ingredients, Colours and Flavours, and Pallet Stocks are undertaken to achieve the daily Site Supply plan and ensuring the Warehouse and Raw Materials Storage work environment is audit ready at all times.
  • Management of returns process/FIFO ingredients/pallet rotation and cycle count processes and audits.
  • Management of automation equipment, data and function to minimise impact on supply requirements or OEE performance.
  • Competent at completing traceability exercises.
  • Supporting role in internal audit activities and new product trials.
  • Operating Materials Handling Equipment in accordance with Company MHE Standards.
  • Accurately completing all monitoring systems required by the Company in accordance with Company Policies/Procedures/Standards.
  • Reporting any non-conformances to Company Policies/Procedures/Standards and supporting corrective action activities.
  • Ability to motivate/manage team members to meet team performance targets and required Company Standards.
  • Working as a key member of the Site Supply team, demonstrating Company Values and flexibility to support other teams/departments where required.
  • Supporting the delivery of key performance indicators for the Factory linked to Safety, Quality, People, Delivery, and Cost Standards.
  • Pro-actively identifying areas for continuous improvement within the environment/equipment/systems.
  • Demonstrating a willingness to develop within the role to achieve Excellent Competency Levels.

About you:

  • Competency in Health & Safety Procedures.
  • Competent at completing quality checks and documentation/quality IT System entries.
  • Compliant with GMP and HACCP Requirements.
  • Competent at completing traceability exercises and/or supporting role in internal/external audit activities and new product trials.
  • Escalation of identified Non-Conformance ingredients/raw materials/packaging/finished goods/pallets and supporting role in non-conformance process.
  • Management of returns process/FIFO ingredients/pallet rotation and cycle count processes.
  • Supporting audits and implementation of corrective actions to reduce/eliminate issues and/or management of automation equipment, data and function to minimise impact on supply requirements or OEE performance.
  • Understand daily supply requirements and suggests solutions to address emerging issues causing deviation from plan.
  • Ability to safely offload, load, store, block stack, case pick, part pallet merge and receipt raw materials, packaging, ingredients, finished goods or waste into relevant location in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Completes effective handover with oncoming team member to provide an update on any safety, quality, people, delivery or cost issues arisen during working hours.
