Overview of the role:
- To ensure all administration queries, from all areas of the business, are dealt with in a timely fashion.
- To ensure stock integrity is maintained and report on all Logistics KPIs.
- In line with the Colours and Flavours Operative Job Description, the operative has the responsibility for the receipt and control of the colours and flavours materials that require specific storage temperature regimes, in line with the manufacturers guidelines.
What are your daily tasks as a Materials Administrator at Refresco, Bridgwater?
- Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, you will perform general administration tasks for the factory department.
- To record stock accurately and systematically through the IMI and Iren systems.
- Localised ordering of raw materials from third-party storage areas.
- Act as a central point of communication.
- Ensure all inbound logistic KPIs are up-to-date and accurate.
- To support management with tasks and administration.
- Daily monitoring of stock 36 hours ahead.
- Undertake regular stock checks and order materials accordingly.
- Manage returns.
- Ensure that the correct quantities of materials are in their correct storage temperature environment.
- Ensure that the company’s process is always followed correctly.
- Highlight to production planning any shortfalls of materials.
- To record and replace any damaged or leaking cartons in a timely manner.
- Ensure published productivity targets are met for Materials supply SLAs, and Stock-checking accuracy levels.
This role will be situated within a busy manufacturing environment. It will require you to go onto the shop floor from time to time and will involve some manual handling. The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
Key skills:
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft packages: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Ideally, you will have experience in an administration role or have demonstrated a strong ability to perform administrative tasks.
