Working hand-in-hand with the Site Implementation Manager, Packaging Technologist, and cross-functional teams, youll play a key role in ensuring seamless, safe, and efficient transitions from concept to production. The Role
- Support seamless product launches Assist in executing product and packaging trials, ensuring all manufacturing introductions meet strict food safety, legal, and customer standards.
- Coordinate across the value chain Work with Technical, Production, NPD, Planning, and external partners (labs, auditors, coldstores) to keep trials, documentation, and timelines on track.
- Drive accuracy and readiness Help ensure SOPs, risk assessments, and technical records are complete and audit-ready before launch.
- Enable packaging and process changes Assist with validation of new packaging formats and equipment, incorporating learnings into process improvements.
- Lead on-site trial support Follow trial plans and gather key insights to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion quality and compliance Collaborate on HACCP reviews, packaging NCRs, and supplier visits to ensure robust systems are in place for every launch.
- Be a key communicator Host and support implementation meetings with cross-functional teams to align on goals and resolve post-launch issues quickly and effectively.
About You
Youre someone who thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment and enjoys getting things right the first time. You bring both technical understanding and strong people skills to ensure the implementation process is smooth, accurate, and collaborative.
- Essential: A degree in a science-based discipline (e.g., Food Technology) or 2+ years experience in a technical or quality role within the food or FMCG industry
- Demonstrated success supporting new product or packaging introductions in a manufacturing setting
- Strong communication and coordination abilities across multiple functions
- Familiarity with quality systems, trial documentation, and food safety principles (HACCP involvement a plus)
- A keen eye for detail, and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable navigating both the factory floor and office-based systems, including MS Office
Key Performance Measures
- Successful, on-time, in-full product and packaging launches
- Trial completion rate with validated learnings and next steps
- Documentation completeness prior to launch (SOPs, risk assessments, etc.)
- Timely resolution of post-launch issues
- Positive internal stakeholder feedback on coordination and execution
