About the Role

The HR Advisor delivers a proactive, people-focused service, supporting managers with day-to-day HR matters and fostering a positive workplace culture. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the role ensures smooth HR operations while driving engagement, coaching, and continuous improvement aligned with business values.

As the Site HR Advisor here are your key areas of focus

  • Coach and support managers on performance, conduct, and absence to build confident leadership.
  • Champion colleague engagement and wellbeing, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.
  • Drive fair, inclusive recruitment and onboarding to set new starters up for success.
  • Deliver training and promote continuous learning to boost leadership capability across the site.
  • Provide clear, consistent HR advice while supporting positive employee relations and inclusion.
  • Use HR data to spot trends, ensure compliance, and support key people projects with the HRBP.

Were looking for

A candidate that can demonstrable experience as an HR Advisor, with a solid understanding of UK employment legislation and its practical application in the workplace. Theyll be confident navigating best practice HR approaches, and bring well-developed IT skills across databases, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
