Engineering Apprenticeship Programme Lead – Refresco, Bridgwater
Permanent, Part time hours – Must be flexible Monday Friday (either 3 days per week or 5 short days)

About the Role
As our Engineering Training Manager, youll play a pivotal role in developing tomorrows engineering talent. Youll lead every aspect of our apprenticeship programmesfrom recruitment to graduationensuring alignment with Refrescos technical standards, Health & Safety requirements, and our vibrant Great Place to Work culture.
You\’ll collaborate with training providers, schools, colleges, and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality learning experiences, strong apprentice support, and a clear path to career success within the business.
We currently support a team of 14 apprenticesboth adult and juniorwho are progressing through various stages of their development journey. As part of our continued investment in future talent, we plan to welcome an additional five apprentices during the 2025/2026 intake.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage engineering apprenticeship programmes from start to finish
- Be the key point of contact for apprentices, managers, training providers, and partners
- Track progress, provide feedback, and ensure timely intervention where needed
- Ensure training is effective, compliant, and meets business needs
- Identify skills gaps and continuously improve training delivery
- Drive internal recruitment and succession planning for engineering roles
- Champion Health & Safety and foster an inclusive, values-led environment
- Monitor and report on programme success using clear metrics
