This is a high-impact commercial leadership opportunity where you'll take full ownership of major customer relationships, drive profitable growth, and influence strategy across branded and private-label portfolios. Working with a talented cross-functional team, you'll lead key customer initiatives, champion innovation, and help deliver Refresco's ambitious growth plans in a fast-paced, dynamic FMCG environment.
Reporting to the Head of Retail, the role involves responsibility for the turnover, volume, management, and coordination of a team of people, ensuring optimum performance, providing customer focus whilst generating sustained and profitable growth, forging stronger business partner relationships.
Key Responsibilities of the Account Controller:- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive profitable growth, including branded, own-label, and NPD initiatives from concept to launch.
- Lead customer account management, including promotional budget control, SKU profitability, trade marketing, and execution of customer-driven projects.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Production, Logistics, Technical, and senior leadership to optimise performance, resolve issues, and support long-term planning.
- Drive operational excellence by managing product changes, reducing write-offs, improving aged debt, and leading internal and Group-wide project teams.
We would love to hear from you if you're an accomplished National Account Controller or Manager with a proven record in profitable FMCG sales, top-retailer account management, and successful private label NPD delivery. You will excel in communication and influencing, confidently manage challenging conversations, and demonstrate strong project-management skills. Experience across both private label and branded portfolios is essential.
