The Manufacturing Compliance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and assuring engineering statutory compliance across site. The postholder will work closely with Factory Engineering Managers, maintenance teams, external competent persons and insurance inspectors to ensure compliance activities are completed on time, evidence is recorded correctly and gaps are escalated and closed out through robust action plans.

As the Compliance Coordinator here are your key areas of focus:

  • Coordinate statutory engineering compliance across LOLER, LEV, PSSR, Legionella, PUWER, DSEAR, Working at Height and related areas.
  • Maintain the site compliance calendar to ensure all inspections, tests and remedial actions are completed on time.
  • Own and develop the engineering compliance dashboard, highlighting status, overdue items, risks, trends and priorities.
  • Maintain accurate compliance documentation, including reports, certificates, written schemes and remedial action records.
  • Act as the main site contact for insurance inspectors, competent persons and specialist compliance providers.
  • Review inspection outputs, support asset owners with timely close out of actions and escalate gaps, recurring issues or unclear ownership.

We’re looking for:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with data, records or systems within an operational or engineering environment, supported by strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. They will be competent in Microsoft Excel or similar tools and able to compile and manage data from multiple sources effectively. Good communication skills and the confidence to follow up on actions are essential, and a basic awareness of engineering compliance areas such as LOLER, PSSR or Legionella would be beneficial, however, it is not essential.
