This is a fantastic opportunity for a career-minded individual who aspires to join a busy, professional HR team. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the HR Administrator is part of a medium sized team supporting with managing a range of HR transactional activities, to include:
- Payroll
- Absence management
- Employee relations
- Employee engagement initiatives
- Recognitions and reward arrangements
Much of the job is data driven, and so it is essential the job holder is highly competent with Microsoft Excel, and can provide reports and manage data with ease. Responsibilities include:
- Manage and co-ordinate all administration tasks relating to absence management, employment changes, long service awards and employee of the month.
- Support the HR Advisor with absence management administration if required.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of Long Service Awards for the site.
- Maintain and utilise the HR payroll, data and systems through timely and accurate input and producing reports to assist with the provision of management information and KPI reporting.
- Address all ad-hoc queries relating to the employment cycle.
- Supporting the HR Advisors in the management of family friendly policies and procedures such as maternity, paternity, shared leave and requests for flexible working.
- Support the Plant HR Team via the provision of an effective, efficient, value adding service whilst being able to accept delegated tasks.
- Support ad hoc projects related to the role and help drive continuous improvement for the department.
You may already be an Administrator in a smaller business and ready for more of a challenge, or you may be a good HR Administrator ready for a fresh challenge. Certainly, you can demonstrate success in your current role and can add value to our on-site HR team. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Fridays 8.30 - 4.00 and we have free, onsite parking.
