At Refresco, we are looking for a dynamic Reliability & Improvement Engineer to play a pivotal role in optimising our plant performance and equipment reliability. Working at the forefront of innovation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will champion strategic initiatives, coach engineering teams, and deliver tangible results that support our growth and success.

As a Reliability & Improvement Engineer, you will be a key driver in delivering Engineering Excellence through the application of five strategic pillars:

  • Training & Development
  • Champion engineering best practices and drive change in collaboration with the Departmental Engineering Manager.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high performance.
  • Coach teams on Maintenance and Reliability tools, concepts, and practices to build capability and long-term sustainability.
  • Evaluate training needs and contribute to developing and enhancing maintenance training programs.
  • Utilise CMMS systems (IDhammar/SAP) for data analysis and reliability action planning.
  • Apply in-depth analysis, testing, and measurement for effective risk-based failure mitigation.
  • Share best practices and root cause solutions across the organisation to ensure standardisation and improve performance.
  • Maintain a strong Mechanical/Electrical foundation, with a sound understanding of automation.
  • Ensure all work aligns with Refresco safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Be directly accountable for the mechanical efficiency (MME) of the process plant.
  • Lead the escalation and resolution of service risks, budget control, and achievement of KPIs.
  • Inspire and engage engineering colleagues to identify, prioritise, and execute corrective, preventative, and predictive actions using root cause analysis.
  • Proven experience in engineering leadership with a drive for continuous improvement.
