About the role:
You will be an integral part of your team, ensuring the factory is kept up and running to its highest capacity, and work as part of a well-regarded, focused maintenance team. You will support both planned and reactive maintenance work throughout our factory on various state-of-the-art equipment including; pallet wrappers, shrink wrappers, conveyors, check weighers, palletizers, packaging machinery, processing systems, specialist food processing machinery, silos, pumps, pipework, etc.
What are your daily tasks as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer at Refresco Bridgwater?
- Working closely with the Engineering Team Leader, responsible for delivering a high-quality Engineering service.
- Rapidly diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, basic control, and instrumentation faults.
- Completing a full range of maintenance activities across the entire installed asset base within your work area.
- Continuously working to improve performance to deliver site efficiency and performance standards.
- Get involved with factory improvement projects.
About you:
We are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer with a multi-skilled engineering background (either biased). You must hold a minimum L3 qualification in an engineering discipline or be time served. Candidates from an FMCG/food background would be highly desirable, however, we will consider candidates from other backgrounds. Ex-military are welcome to apply.
