Purpose: To provide leadership/field experience for men pursuing ministry and support the ministry work at Loxley PCA.

Timeline: 12 months to meet requirements of PCA BCO 19-7.

Role: Part-time, around 10 hours per week.

  • Teach classes in Sunday School and Bible study contexts
  • Assist in administrative and organizational tasks
  • Participate in member visitation and session meetings
  • Engage in personal evangelism in Loxley and surrounding communities, promote evangelism and evangelism training within the church
  • Gain experience in administration, community, counseling, evangelism, personal development, preaching and teaching, relationships, visitation, and worship per Gulf Coast Presbytery internship guidelines

Compensation: $6000 stipend; placement with local businesses may be available if an additional job is needed.

Position Qualifications: Candidate should be in process or have completed a ministry degree (ideally M.Div.) and be considering local church ministry.
