Membership Director

Role Description The Membership Director is a full-time, on-site role based at Reform UK’s offices in London. This position oversees the growth, retention, and engagement of party members, including designing membership strategies, managing the membership lifecycle, and ensuring timely communication with members. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring membership data, coordinating outreach campaigns, responding to member inquiries, and working closely with regional teams to support local membership initiatives. The role also involves setting membership targets, managing relevant budgets, and collaborating with fundraising and communications staff to align membership activities with broader party goals. The Membership Director will be expected to attend events, represent the party to members and supporters, and help create a welcoming, service-oriented experience for all stakeholders. Qualifications Strong Membership Development and engagement skills, including experience with recruitment, retention, and member relationship management. Excellent Communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a capacity to tailor messages to diverse audiences and stakeholders. Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and maintaining a positive member experience. Experience with Budgeting and resource planning, ensuring efficient use of funds to meet membership growth and engagement objectives. Sales or fundraising experience, including comfort with outreach campaigns and conversion of interest into active membership. Strong organizational and administrative skills, including proficiency with membership databases and standard office software. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced political environment and maintain professionalism in sensitive or high-profile situations. Prior experience in politics, membership organizations, or NGOs is beneficial; a relevant degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
