Reform UK is looking for a Video Editor to lead the production of high-impact video content across Scotland. You will transform speeches, media appearances, campaign activity and rapid-response messaging into sharp, engaging video that drives reach, shapes narrative, and converts attention into political momentum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit daily short-form video content for X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Produce fast‑turnaround reactive clips responding to Scottish political developments and media moments.
  • Create campaign adverts, promotional videos, and fundraising content.
  • Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound design and branding to optimise content for platform performance.
  • Work closely with the social media and campaign teams to ensure message discipline and maximum impact.

Requirements

  • Proven video editing experience in political, campaign, media, or fast‑paced commercial environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software.
  • Basic motion graphics capability (After Effects or equivalent) preferred.
  • Strong instinct for pacing, narrative framing and attention retention.
  • Understanding of social platform algorithms and short‑form content optimisation.
  • Comfortable operating in a high‑pressure, politically charged environment.
  • A strong commitment to the values and mission of Reform UK.
