The Position: Applications are invited for a SHEP Operative at our SecAnim Ltd, Widnes site. This is a full time, permanent position, working 12 hour shifts, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (X2 days and X2 nights, then 4 days off). As a SHEP Operative your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company's requirements but will include:
- To ensure that all relevant Health and Safety Regulations are followed at all times.
- Control and operate basic plant and equipment as efficiently and safely as possible to define quality specifications.
- Report and investigate deviations from normal operating conditions and be able to deal with basic production.
- Complete any necessary paperwork.
The Person: Must be able to prioritise the workload. Have excellent communication skills. Be able to work carefully and methodically and have the ability to concentrate for long periods during repetitive work. Be flexible with working hours. To be self-motivated and work well in a team. Previous experience within an Operative position, working in a manufacturing environment is advantageous (although training will be provided where necessary).
